This bustling eatery, noted for its rich, flavorful broth, features a harmonious blend of spice and umami that elevates each bowl to a culinary experience.
Reviewers frequently praise the customizable options, allowing patrons to enhance their dishes with pork ribs, intestines, or eggs—each ingredient fresh and thoughtfully prepared. However, some note that the shrimp can be on the smaller side, which does not detract from the overall enjoyment. The well-cooked noodles absorb the savory broth beautifully.

Based on 1,880 reviewsGreen House Prawn Mee Corner is widely praised for its rich, flavorful prawn mee broth, which captures the authentic Penang-style taste with a strong seafood essence and balanced umami. Customers appreciate the flexibility to customize their bowls with various fresh ingredients such as pork ribs and eggs. The stall's efficient, organized setup is noted for preventing overcrowding and enhancing the dining experience. While the prawn mee generally receives high marks, feedback on other dishes like the loh mee is mixed, with some finding the gravy too thick or sweeter than expected. Portion sizes tend to be moderate, appealing to those seeking quality over quantity. Overall, the brand is regarded as a worthy destination for prawn mee enthusiasts seeking a classic local specialty.
You have to order at the corner shop then having at another shoplot which the arrangement is quite good. Wont feel too crowded and very systematic. The prawn mee soup is quite strong flavor. Im not very like 卤面taste as abit sweet. The portion is quite small but is okay. Overall is quite worth to try.
Green House Prawn Mee Corner is a must-visit spot for anyone who loves a strong, flavorful bowl of Penang-style prawn mee. The broth is the real star — rich, deep prawn flavor with just the right amount of spice and umami. Every spoonful is packed with that satisfying, slow-cooked taste. You can customise your bowl with add-ons like pork ribs, intestines, or eggs — all fresh and well-prepared. The noodles are perfectly cooked and soak up the broth nicely. For something extra indulgent, go for the version with pork ribs — super tender and flavorful. Although it’s a popular supper spot and can get crowded at night, service is quick and efficient. Open late, so it’s perfect for late-night cravings. Definitely one of the best prawn mee experiences in Penang!
The prawn Mee is super good. Full of flavour. The shrimp is on the small size though. We also ordered the Lo Mein, I would skip that next time. It was just alright. Go for the prawn mee, you will not be disappointed.
Had this ages ago and recently visit again to found it became Michelin. Prawn mee still the best but the Loh mee gravy was too thick the time I visit. I rmb it was more soupy last time. Still recommend this good spot for prawn mee can choose size and add more ingredient depends on your liking
After our disappointing round at the food court, we went for second round - the famed prawn mee. It wasn't what I'd hoped for—expected thicker broth but it was still delicious. Must add roasted pork. It gives the whole thing a wonderful crunch and a bit of saltiness. It really works so well with the broth. They have 3 shops, the one with the sign board is where the stall is and another 2 more a few doors in the same row with seating areas.
